RMHYC night at the Jib room
Thursday, January 14th was an enjoyable evening for the RMHYC members who attended an organized Steak night dinner at the Jibroom. Judy and Bob Williams hosted the evening and with the help of Jibroom owners Linda and Tom Leffler and staff, a great time was had by all. Since the weather was uncertain, many of the members at Boat Harbour were fortunate to have the van owners taxi our large group to the restaurant where we met with other RMHYC members from the area.
We noticed bingo cards on our tables. Just before dinner was served, Linda started calling out numbers. "B10", "N42". It wasn't long before Bill Van Note on MV Interlude from Harbour View Marina yelled "BINGO" and was the new owner of a bottle of Bacardi Añejo Rum. Thanks, Linda for the game of BINGO and the special prize!
The 81 members enjoyed the Guinness marinated steak dinner meal prepared by Chef Marvin. Thank you to the Bartenders: Stephen, Jason and Francesca and Ms. Janet! Everyone was served promptly and everything was D E L I C I O U S!
After we allowed our meal to settle and converse a little more, Desmond, The Limbo Man, then started the limbo contest. A few members tested their skills, some doing quite well, while others, "not so much". New RMHYC member Nancy McIntosh on Katmandu at Boat Harbour was awarded the bottle of Nassau Royale Rum.
A great time was had by all!
